IPS becomes sole UK Agent and distributor of DGS Filters

Industrial Purification Systems (IPS), one of the UK's leading water filtration specialists, has become sole UK agent and distributor for German based DGS Filters.

The agreement enables IPS to bring a range of high quality filtration products including paper band filters, chip conveyors and magnetic drum filters direct to the UK's metal manufacturers and processors.

Steve Cupples, managing director of IPS said: "We are delighted to have formed such a relationship with DGS.

"We have for a number of years been using DGS's paper band filters as part of our self cleaning filter technology for the purpose of backwash water recovery. This has enabled us to provide our clients with self cleaning process filters which have zero loss capability

"This agreement now gives us the opportunity to incorporate a wider choice of filtration technology into our process filter systems. This ability opens up new and potential markets that not only use process water but also soluble oil based cooling systems such as those used in metal manufacturing processes from automation and aero engine manufacturing to sheet steel cutting .

"And of course the UK market will benefit from very competitive pricing."
