Reverse Osmosis Protection
The production of ultra pure water is a requirement for many industries and processes from brewing to the production of silicone chips RO technology is employed to ensure the top quality of water is achieved.
This comes at a price, the technology itself is expensive to purchase and to install, the cleaner the feed water to the process the longer the production cycle before the membrane cleaning process has to be used. Generally the more frequent the backwashing of the membrane the lower its life expectancy, an s this is an expensive item to replace it makes sense to give the RO plant the best protection possible,
We have two solutions which can extend membrane life depending on the application, these can be used as a two stage or single stage operation depending on circumstances
If the water source is a river , lake or similar SpinClean can act as the first stage for removal of contamination down to 20 micron. With its capacity for the removal of high solids loading to exact filtration degrees SpinClean is the ideal first stage solution
CrossFlow MF
For the protection of membrane systems from finer solids such as Diatoms in river water the CrossFlow MF is the ideal solution. Fully automatic and self cleaning this offers filtration down to 0.45 micron
Mixed Media Filtration
Filter systems designed to remove organics and colour from water prior to RO systems can be designed with or , in some instances without the use of chemicals. By using combinations of materials there are often several options available
