Food & Beverage

Cooling Towers - used for process cooing can be a source of airborne contamination, effective filtration on a side stream basis using CrossFlow MF can significantly reduce the risk of contamination, and therefore prosecution.

Irrigation water - their bid to meet quality food standards, food growers are using mains water for crop spraying, which is extremely expensive and environmentally unsound practice. Food manufacturers are simply treating and disposing of waste water, which in many instances can be used for crop irrigation.

Process water form potable main sources can in some instances be contaminated with pipe scale from old mains, effective filtration with SpinClean or CrossflowMF technology can ensure constant water quality to process.

Process cooling - water from river or borehole source and often be significantly improved by filtration, depending on the nature of the contamination several options are available to improve quality and reduce operating costs from these alternative sources

Wash water recovery - process plants which use large water volumes can often re process the water for several uses within the plant, the primary cause for concern is the contamination from the primary process.
