Energy Reduction: Many modern hotels and conference centres have heating and/or cooling systems often using large capacity chillers. These systems seldom achieve optimum performance due, in many instances, to the quality of the water within them. A quick examination of the colour of the water within these systems will give a good indication of the loss of efficiency.

At a time when we are all charged with reducing our buildings energy requirement - and our direct energy costs - to meet Government directives on carbon emissions it is all to easy to miss the quick return solutions.

CrossFlowMF1.0 has been shown to improve heat transfer efficiencies by up to 30% when compared with unfiltered systems. This can mean significant energy reductions and reduced maintenance costs. Blocked heat exchangers can be part of history if the correct filtration can be incorporated within a system.

Risk Limitation-Legionella: Effective filtration methods for such facilities as water features, spas and hot tubs can assist the owner and operator to minimise risk. These facilities can often present owners with the additional risk of water contamination from both the atmosphere and/or the intervention of the public.  Legionella outbreaks or skin infections can not only damage pockets, it can seriously damage reputations.

The installation of CrossFlowMF1.0 or SpinClean side stream filter systems can assist in reducing risk and minimising costs.

Swimming Pools: Swimming pool filtration for the modern health club located in high rise buildings can present unique problems. Effective filtration of pool water with conventional technology, which are large and very heavy systems, often create major problems for the initial build design, often requiring significant on costs, and then when installed significant costs for maintenance and/or replacement.

The CrossflowMF1.0 technology is a compact system, for easy installation and service,  but with the added benefit of improved performance and reduced risk. A CrossFlowMF1.0 installation at the MOD pool facilities showed significantly reduced processing time and backwash losses.
